Set in mid 19^th century Charleston, Malia Manchester is a child witch with wings who can see the future, just not her own. Her magical eyes, one blue and one green, signifies her strong powers. She’s the daughter of Ariel the angel and Medici Manchester the wizard. Her familiar and protector is her pet cheetah, Missy, who she communicates with telepathically.

On a family trip to the islands, Malia is saddened by the slaves working the plantations and vows to free them one day. While flying over ley lines, her family is caught in a portal over the Bermuda Triangle and is magically transported to the ends of the Earth, literally. They land beyond the ice wall in a realm where magical creatures are protected. Queen Cordelia of the Fairies greets them and recites the prophecy involving Malia, her soulmate and the epic things they accomplish together to change the course of history.

Ten years later, Malia flies over Fort Sumter and is nearly struck by the first cannonball fired in the Civil War. Fleeing the war, Malia flies over the ley lines with her Cheetah. Fate pulls her towards her destiny at the Devil’s Tower. The top of the tower is concave and functions as a giant cauldron. Malia harnesses the power of lighting to summon the devil himself—the fallen angel, Lucifer Morningstar!
